Eddy Rockefeller's musical journey began when she was four years old and her Mum asked  if she wanted to learn how to play violin. She doesn't remember the conversation itself but she is told that she replied with an enthusiastic yes!

Having been surrounded with music since still in the womb, She can only imagine that she wanted to be just like her Mum and sisters and aunties and in fact everyone in her family who all played a musical instrument. This desire to be like her loved ones eventually turned into a passion for expression and shaping music, which she displayed first on violin and piano and later on, in her guitar and vocals.

While she loved music in all its forms, nothing stoked her passion as much as singing. The ability to show a message through vocal stylings as well as well written lyrics always managed to captivate her and she spent countless hours singing and searching out places to perform her heartfelt renditions of popular songs. This passion soon turned into a desire to create her own masterpieces and so she began writing her own songs at the age of seventeen.

She never strayed away from a chance to perform and over the years has been awarded song writing accolades, participated in and won singing competitions, and in the year 2017, won a national singing competition which sent her overseas to compete in the world finals of ISing. Attended by 34 other countries all with multiple entrants, she describes this as one of the most amazing experiences of her life, to be surrounded by people who felt the same passion for singing, and also being her first ever trip overseas.

"I made many lifelong friends and I was lucky enough to make it to the grand final of the competition, placing 5th in the world!"

She has performed on countless stages, at countless venues, countless festivals (MainStage Airlie Beach Music Festival, Mitchell Creek Rock and Blues Festival, Tamworth Country Music Festival etc.), none too big or too small. She's performed solo, with many up and coming musicians, with many established acts (Wanita Queen of Honkytonk, Grant Walmsley from the Screaming Jets, Afromoses, Bob Spencer from The Angels etc.) and she has never stopped loving what she does!

Although she's proud of what she's achieved since picking up the violin at age 4, she is not done playing and singing yet. She has so much more she wants to do, so much more she wants to write and share, and so many more accomplishments she wants to reach and she's not stopping yet!

Operating out of the Newcastle area she spends her weekends playing at various venues across the Hunter Valley. Both covers and original music, she makes people sit up and listen everywhere she goes, so keep an ear out for where she pops up next.
